The Pennyrile District Health Department reported Wednesday the 18th positive COVID-19 case had been confirmed in Trigg County.
Spokesman Josh Ramage said the 18th case is a 77-year old male who is hospitalized.
This is the first new positive COVID-1 case reported in the county this week after six new cases were confirmed by the health department last week in Trigg County. The new case reported Wednesday is the second coronavirus case in the county that has been hospitalized in the county since the outbreak began.
