A wreck on Walnut Street sent two Hopkinsville men to the hospital Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 58-year-old You Bussell was northbound stopped in traffic near East 9th Street when a car behind him driven by 36-year-old Timothy Gibbs of Hopkinsville hit his SUV.
Gibbs reportedly told police his foot slipped off the brake causing the crash. Gibbs’s car hit the tow hitch on Bussell’s SUV causing minor damage.
Bussell and his passenger 52-year-old Michael Bussell were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for leg, arm, and neck pain.
