Hopkinsville Man Charged With Possession Of Meth

A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of meth and arrested on active warrants Saturday night.

Hopkinsville Police say 56-year-old Richard Wilson was seen by police on a sidewalk on South Virginia Street near East 17th Street.

When he reportedly noticed police he started digging in his pocket and turned away.

As police talked with him he was found to have active warrants in Christian County and Ohio. During the arrest police say they found a syringe, meth, and marijuana on him.

Wilson is charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
