Hopkinsville Man Charged With Fleeing From Police

A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly fled from police in the area of West 2nd Street Tuesday night.

Hopkinsville Police say 34-year-old Dellondo Ross was seen driving at a high rate of speed and disregarding a stop sign around 9 pm on West 2nd Street near Elm Street.

Ross reportedly stopped his vehicle shortly after the intersection and fled on foot.

He was allegedly located hiding beside a home on Diuguid Street and found to have an active warrant for driving on a suspended license.

Inside Ross’s vehicle police reportedly found marijuana. He is charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, and possession of marijuana.
