Names Released in Two-Vehicle Accident in Princeton that Injured Five


More information, including the names of those injured, has been released concerning a two-vehicle accident in Princeton Wednesday that injured five.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison states officers responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of KY 91 North/Marion Road and the Stratton Inn around 1:44PM. He adds preliminary investigation revealed that 16-year-old Ja’Stasya Sykes, of Princeton, was turning out of the parking lot of Stratton Inn when she pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Shannon Miller, also of Princeton.


Assistant Chief Allison notes the collision caused airbags to deploy in both vehicles. He reports Sykes and a passenger in her vehicle, 18-year-old Keyariel Hollowell, as well as Miller, and two passengers in her vehicle, 16-year-old Ashlynn Miller and 15-year-old Victoria Ladd, were transported to Caldwell Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The Princeton Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Princeton Fire Department and Caldwell County EMS.
