Five Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident in Princeton Wednesday

At least five people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Princeton Wednesday afternoon.

Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis states he came up on an accident involving two vehicles in front of Marathon Gas on Marion Road just after 1:40. He adds that it appeared one vehicle had collided with the driver’s side of the other causing significant damage.

Chief Francis reports that two occupants in the first vehicle and three occupants in the second vehicle were able to get out of the vehicles on their own but all five were transported to local hospitals by Caldwell County EMS.

He notes traffic was blocked for a short period of time as crews worked to clear the scene, which had left one vehicle in the roadway.

More information will be released once it becomes available.
