The Trigg County Coroner’s Office has released the name of a man who was killed in a farming accident in Land Between the Lakes Monday.
Deputy Coroner Matthew Phillips responded to the scene on Laurel Furnance Road and identified the individual as 79-year old Bobby Cunningham, of Dexter. Cunningham was pronounced dead at the scene. Two Forestry Service employees provided first aid to Cunningham while awaiting Trigg County EMS and a helicopter, but Cunningham passed away before the helicopter could arrive.
The accident is still under investigation by the Coroner’s Office, who was assisted on scene by Trigg County Rescue and U.S. Forest Service, LBL.
