Woman Dies At Nashville Hospital After Herndon Crash

A Hopkinsville woman died at a Nashville hospital after a wreck on Lafayette Road Tuesday morning.

Christian County Deputy Adam Vanderkolk told the News Edge at the scene a car driven by 26-year-old Jamarean Killebrew was southbound on Lafayette Road when Killebrew’s car ran off the road and overturned.  The passenger, 22-year-old Briana Proctor, was ejected during the crash.

The crash happened just after 6am about one mile north of the intersection with Gracey Herndon Road.

Killebrew and Proctor were flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.  Both reportedly sustained severe injuries. Deputies say Proctor died at the hospital Wednesday from her injuries.
