In less than 24-hours, the Christian County Health Department is reporting two more new confirmed COVID-19 cases since Thursday.
With the new confirmed cases Friday, the total number of active cases is now 15, with 89 recoveries. The active cases include three in the pediatric age group, ten cases in the young-adult to middle age, two older adults, and no cases among the elderly.
After 11 consecutive days of seeing the number of active COVID-19 cases stay the same or decrease, Friday marks the fourth time in five days that number has risen.
According to the health department, the total number of coronavirus cases in the county is now 107, including three deaths related to the virus, since the outbreak began.
