As we head into Memorial Day weekend, the weather will start to get warmer and there is an increased chance for pop-up showers and storms.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says temperatures and humidity will begin to rise Friday.
He adds with the increased humidity, it will be much easier for pop-up showers and thunderstorms to form.
Powell adds the region may see some cooler weather toward the beginning of June.
