Police have released the name of a man that was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries after he fell off the back of a moving truck Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police say the truck was turning onto Airport Road from a parking lot when 65-year old Thomas Bernhardt, of Hopkinsville, fell off the tailgate.
Bernhardt was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with CPR in progress. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville by helicopter where he is listed in critical condition
