Local McDonald’s Offering Free ‘Thank You Meal’ to Front Line Workers

A local fast-food franchise is extending gratitude to front line workers by offering free meals.

Joe and Kathy McEnaney, owners and operators of eight local McDonald’s including the one in Princeton, announced this week that they will be offering a free “Thank You Meal” to first responders and healthcare workers day or night through Tuesday, May 5th. The McEnaney’s add that during breakfast individuals can choose from an egg McMuffin, chicken McGriddles, or bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit to be included with any size soft drink, tea, or hot coffee and a hash brown. For lunch and dinner, individuals can choose either a double cheeseburger, six-piece McNuggets, or Filet-o-Fish to be included with any size soft drink, tea, or hot coffee and a small fry.

The McEnaney’s note that this is McDonald’s way to thank those who are working on the front lines doing everything they can to keep our community healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. All a first responder or healthcare worker needs to do to receive the free meal is present their work badge at the drive-thru after ordering.

McDonald’s locations participating in the free thank you meals include Princeton, Marion, Eddyville, Hopkinsville, Providence, and Madisonville.
