HCCPL Imagination Library Offering Free Books And Book Bingo

The Hopkinsville-Christian Imagination Library will be providing opportunities this week for patrons to receive free children’s books along with a reading Bingo challenge to promote literacy.

The children’s books will be available at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library between the hours of 8 a.m. and noon Tuesday and Thursday, while supplies last. Library officials ask that you please limit two books per family.

Every book will also contain a reading Bingo challenge for the family to enjoy. Imagination Library Coordinator Sarah Hardison says the Imagination Library Bingo Challenge is designed to keep children reading in a time where reading at home is more important than ever. Patrons who participate and complete the Bingo challenge are encouraged to tag @HCCPL on Instagram and Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library on Facebook.

The Hopkinsville-Christian County Imagination Library assures the public that books continue to ship at as normal at this time. To register your child for free books, visit hccpl.org or imaginationlibrary.com. Children living in Christian County are eligible from birth to 5 years old.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth until they begin school, no matter their family’s income.

For additional information, or questions regarding your child’s account, email Hardison at sarah@hccpl.org.
