Hopkinsville Community College announced this week they will award over $19,000 in scholarships for students who would like to take classes during the summer semester.
College President/CEO Alissa Young says the generosity of donors has allowed some flexibility during this time of great challenge to offer students the opportunity to get going on their dreams this summer. She adds they typically do not have scholarship funding for summer coursework, but they have been able to carve out some support for students who plan to attend the school in the fall.
Students interested in summer scholarships can apply by clicking here. Students are urged to complete the scholarship process, as soon as possible in order to meet the May 1st deadline. The money for the scholarships is made available by the HCC Foundation General Endowment.
