Governor Andy Beshear signed a new executive order earlier this week concerning the state’s workers’ compensation.
LaTasha Buckner, the governor’s chief of staff says under the order temporary total disability payments will be available for groups of people who have not had access to it before.
Buckner adds if you work in these industries and a healthcare official says you have to be quarantined because of exposure to COVID-19 you will get access to the benefits.
She says you will now not have to go through a long process to get the benefits.
