Justice Center Closed Due To Possible COVID-19 Exposure

The Christian County Justice Center in Hopkinsville is closed until Monday due to possible exposure to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19)

Circuit Judge John Atkins tells the News Edge they have been instructed by the Administrative Office of the Courts to close the building due to the possibility of exposure to the virus.

He adds a contractor cleaning crew will be sent to the Justice Center to completely decontaminate the building.

Judge Atkins says there will be no business conducted in district or circuit court on Friday and anybody who was scheduled to be in court needs to call for instructions.

Again, Judge Atkins says the Justice Center is closed until Monday morning at 8:00 and they hope to reopen at that time.
