A Hopkinsville man was killed in a wreck on Franklin Road in Logan County Saturday afternoon.
Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies say 60-year-old Clarance Winslow was westbound when his vehicle ran off the road hitting a guardrail and traveling down an embankment before hitting a tree.
Winslow was extricated from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies say they were in the area after receiving a call of Winslow driving recklessly before the crash.
Authorities say drugs and alcohol are believed to have contributed to the crash.
