Trigg County Coroner John Mark Vinson has announced the appointment of Jimmy Hart as deputy coroner for the county.
Hart was sworn into office this week by Judge-executive Hollis Alexander and recently completed training at the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training. Vinson said Hart is certified to conduct post mortem examinations and investigations through the coroner’s office.
Hart is a Trigg County native who has served with the Cadiz Fire Department, Trigg County Ambulance Service, and Trigg County Sheriff’s Department. He is also a Kentucky licensed funeral director employed by Goodwin Funeral Home.
