Amid all the closures due to COVID-19 concerns, officials at the Pennyroyal Center have announced they do not have plans to close any of their facilities at this time.
As school districts close, officials say the Pennyroyal Center will do their best to accommodate any child currently receiving school-based services. Individuals can call to schedule an appointment, but officials point out the appointment may be conducted either in person at one of their local clinics or via telehealth, dependent upon on-site provider availability and client choice.
Officials say they realize that reactions during an infectious disease outbreak can have an emotional impact on people and communities. They add this is especially true for those already experiencing mental health conditions, children, healthcare providers, as well as those involved with the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Officials say Pennyroyal Center is prepared to help you if you or a loved one are experiencing an increase of anxiety, fear, use of alcohol or drugs or having stress reactions that interfere with daily activities.
Pennyroyal Center officials say they will do their best to accommodate scheduling requests. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call the 24/7 RESPOND helpline at (877) 473-7766, or (877) 4RESPON.
