Christian County Government Limiting Services

Christian County government offices are changing procedures in response to the Covid-19 virus that has been confirmed in 21 Kentuckians.

Judge Executive Steve Tribble announced late Sunday night starting Monday, March 16, Christian County Government offices will restrict access to its facilities in an effort to take precautionary measures in the prevention of the Coronavirus.

Tribble says in the interest of providing services to the citizens, the services will continue to be available on telephone, online and email.  For services that are time sensitive, people will be able to call the office and request information or an appointment to ensure time sensitive activities are handled as timely as possible.

A news conference is planned for Monday morning at 8:30 at the Hopkinsville Municipal Center.  The conference will include representatives from Hopkinsville, Christian County, city and county law enforcement, the Christian County Health Department, Hopkinsville Fire Department and Christian County Emergency Management.

The news conference will be broadcast on WKDZ and WHVO beginning at 8:30.  The news conference can be viewed online on the city of Hopkinsville Facebook page and website hoptown.org.  The event will be closed to the public due to safety concerns.
