City Of Cadiz Accepting Donations Monday For Tornado Victims

The City of Cadiz will be accepting donations Monday morning at Hancock’s Neighborhood Market and Food Giant for victims of the tornadoes in middle Tennessee.

Public Works Director Kerry Fowler says they will be accepting donations from 8:00 AM until noon at both stores.

Donations were accepted last week, including two half-pallets of bottled water from Food Giant, and will be combined with donations collected Monday.

Mayor Todd King adds he is thankful for his employees who will take the items to Nashville Tuesday.

Monetary donations will be accepted, with the money to be used at their discretion to purchase items that were not donated.

Once the donation drive is complete, the items will be brought to the Cadiz Fire Department at 12:30 Monday afternoon and share in a word of prayer led by Little River Baptist Association Director of Missions Bobby Sellers.
