United Way Of The Pennyrile Tops $700,000

The United Way of the Pennyrile raised more than $700,000 during the 2019 campaign.

The total was announced by board Chairman Brandon Grace during the United Way celebration dinner at The Silo in Hopkinsville Thursday night. He said the campaign raised a total of $707,135.36.

The J. William Flowers award was presented to Sandy Grogan by past winner Jennifer Maddux.

The small division People Helping People award was presented to Atmos Energy. 

The medium division award was presented to Higgins Insurance Agency. 

The large division People Helping People award was presented to Continental Mills. 

And the overall People Helping People award was presented to the City of Hopkinsville.

Lucas Stagner was presented the Beverly Whitfield award.

And United Way Director Annie Catron thanked the former Ebonite employees and the company for their support over the years.

The campaign was co-chaired by Dustin Gilbert and Robin Tabor.
