Attending prom can be an expensive endeavor and there are families that can not afford to purchase a brand new dress for the big night.
Christi Riggs, with Simply Beyoutiful Kentucky, wants to help those in need, to make the night even more memorable. She tells the News Edge she understands the struggle that many families face with purchasing a new prom dress.
Riggs adds they are currently accepting donations of prom dresses.
Girls in need of dresses can schedule a time next month to receive one.
Riggs notes there will be some college-aged girls on hand to help the high school students determine what dress is best for them.
