Oak Grove Tourism announced Wednesday that platinum-selling Country music artist, Dylan Scott will be the headliner at this year’s 13th annual Spring into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell Festival.
Oak Grove Tourism Executive Director Traci Cunningham says they are super excited to have Curb Records recording artist Dylan Scott for the 13th Annual International and Regional award-winning festival. She adds the relationship between Country Music artists, their troops and families has been their long-standing tradition and they are delighted and thrilled Dylan Scott will be bringing his talent and support to Oak Grove.
Scott, best known for his chart-topping song “My Girl”, will take the stage a the Viceroy Performing Arts Center (Amphitheater) in Oak Grove on Saturday night, May 23, at 7:00. Saturday will also feature a 10-man parachute jump prior to the concert, and after Scott’s performance, there will be a firework show that will close out Saturday nights festival.
The 13th Annual Spring into Summer Festival Salutes Fort Campbell will be held Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, the 24th. Activities will run Saturday from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tourism officials say both days of the festival will include new and exciting activities, including three family-friendly stage shows. Officials add they are bringing back America’s Got Talent Finalists and The Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show due to the popularity of the shows at the 11th Annual Butterfly Festival. In addition, there will be free carnival rides for all to enjoy as no tickets or wristbands are required.
According to Tourism officials, the concert, along with all other activities at the festival is free and open to the public.
