A Hopkinsville man was arrested on a warrant for strangulation and assault Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say on December 22nd 44-year-old Nealie Lewis held a woman against a door and placed his hands around her throat during a fight.
When the woman tried to get away Lewis reportedly shoved her to the floor and stepped on her chest.
He is charged with first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault.
