As Christian County’s fourth-largest industry, tourism has a monumental impact on the community and is continuing to increase according to Visit Hopkinsville.
Executive Director Brooke Jung, the featured speaker of Tuesday’s Rotary meeting, highlighted the importance of tourism in Christian County and how it has grown.
She says revenue from the tourism increase in 2018 went to support jobs and local businesses.
Jung notes the economic impact increased greatly from 2017 to 2018.
She also explains the role of Visit Hopkinsville in the community.
