A wreck on South Virginia Street at the intersection of East 12th Street sent a Hopkinsville woman and teenager to the hospital Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say a northbound car on South Virginia Street driven by 37-year-old Jessica Cherry was hit by a northbound truck driven by 59-year-old Richard Moseley of Dickson, Tennessee as he was attempting to change lanes and turn into a parking lot.
The crash pushed Cherry’s car into a utility pole causing the pole to break.
Cherry and her passenger 14-year-old Cameron Acree were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
