A Missouri teen was arrested in Trigg County for DUI early Saturday morning.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Office reports 19-year old Alexander Norwood, of Kosciusko, Missouri was observed sleeping in a vehicle at the 4-Way Convenience Store at the intersection of Kentucky 139 and 272. The deputy adds when Norwood woke up, there was immediately an odor of alcohol and that he was staggering some.
Norwood failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody around 12:50 Saturday morning. He faces charges of DUI under the age of 21 and possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle.
