Grace and Mercy, a house dedicated to empowering women in crisis by extending the love of Christ, will host their annual Banquet and Graduation Celebration in about three weeks.
Board member Tammy Lamb tells the News Edge the event will be held on Thursday night, February 20 at 6:00 at the James E. Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville.
The dinner will feature ten women graduating.
Lamb says Grace and Mercy started about five years ago.
She adds when women are in the program they learn a lot that will help get them back on their feet.
Lamb notes success with the program includes women graduating, are able to get jobs, get their children back, and restore their homes.
Tables for the dinner for ten people can be purchased for $400 by calling Executive Director Joanna Mack at (270) 484-1290.
In addition, Lamb says they are always looking for volunteers.
