Crofton Man And Woman Found With Meth In Separate Traffic Stops

A Crofton man and woman were charged with possession of meth after separate traffic stops in Hopkinsville Thursday.

Hopkinsville Police say 51-year-old John Adcock was found slumped over the steering wheel and stopped in the middle of the intersection at Hickory Smokehouse Road and Madisonville Road.

Police reportedly found a small bag of meth in a cigarette package in his vehicle.

In a separate traffic stop on East 18th Street police stopped a vehicle for allegedly not having taillights or a license plate light and found a bag of meth under the passenger seat.

A passenger in the vehicle 25-year-old Kristen Malone reportedly claimed the drugs were hers.

Malone and Adcock were both charged with possession of meth. Adcock’s driver’s license was reportedly suspended and the vehicle had no insurance.
