Improvements Could Be Made Soon To Deadly Trigg Intersection

Safety at the intersection of Kentucky 139/South Road and U.S. 68-80 in Trigg County has been a hot topic of discussion after several deadly crashes in recent months.

Judge/Executive Hollis Alexander tells the News Edge improvements could be coming as soon as Spring. Alexander sat down with Kentucky Transportation Cabinet members from District 1 Thursday morning to discuss ways they could improve the safety of the intersection.

He adds traffic safety is everyone’s number one goal.

Alexander notes members of the transportation cabinet will be on hand at the next fiscal court meeting to present the improvements they will be making to the intersection.

The Trigg County Fiscal Court meeting on Monday night, February 3 begins at 6:00 in the basement of the annex building in downtown Cadiz.
