A stoplight at the intersection of Kentucky 139, the South Road, and the U.S. 68-80 Bypass could be closer to becoming a reality.
Eighth District State Representative Walker Thomas announced during Monday’s dedication of Kentucky 139, the Princeton Road, that he has requested the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet continue studying the impact of installing a stoplight at the dangerous intersection.
Two Trigg County man were killed in a traffic accident Sunday night at the intersection of South Road and the U.S. 68-80 Bypass.
