Hopkinsville Man Charged After Fleeing From Police

A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly fled from law enforcement Thursday.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say they were in the area of Butler Road attempting to locate a wanted person when 30-year-old Joshua Lee, who was walking in the area, fled from them.

Lee was not the person deputies were originally looking for but he was reportedly found to have warrants for second-degree escape and two counts of contempt of court.

Lee was also charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police.
