Cadiz residents will soon see some unsightly areas cleaned up with the help of new Code Enforcement Officer Charles Hiter.
During remarks to Cadiz City Council Tuesday night Hiter said one of his focuses will be working with residents to clean up junk.
Another focus will be nuisances in the city.
Hiter says a third area will be inspection of rental property.
His duties will also include working with landowners to remove old buildings.
Hiter is stationed at the Cadiz Police Department. He will be on duty Monday through Wednesday each week.
