Trigg County Judge/Executive Hollis Alexander says 2019 proved to be a great year for road improvement projects throughout the county.
Alexander tells the News Edge they have made numerous improvements this year.
He adds they have a great relationship with two regional contractors that help to pave and fix problem spots in roadways.
Paving roads can be very expensive.
Alexander notes he gets asked all of the time why they haven’t paved certain roads.
Paving and chip and seal projects are completed during the warmer spring and summer months, so the material can settle properly.
Alexander was a guest on the WKDZ Country Club Monday morning where he also talked about Trigg County Hospital and upcoming events in 2020.
