The community welcomed the newest addition to downtown Hopkinsville Thursday morning as The Mixer held a ribbon cutting sponsored by the Christian County Chamber of Commerce.
The former Young Hardware building was filled with a sweet aroma of coffee and baked goods, as the restaurant/bakery opened for the second day.
Owner Graham Dawson says The Mixer is a marriage of passions for him and his wife Heather.
Dawson adds they are excited to be located in a building that is vital to Hopkinsville’s history.
The Mixer will offer a variety of local products.
Dawson adds they will also offer products from Hopkinsville Brewing Company, Casey Jones Distillery, MB Rowland Distillery, and Tennessee Valley Brewing Company.
The Mixer is located at 114 East 6th Street and is open Wednesday through Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM.
