Over 1,500 Pennyrile Electric members will be affected by a scheduled interruption of electrical service in Trigg County this weekend.
Officials say the interruption of electrical service will begin at 12:01 Sunday morning at the Cadiz Substation and is expected to last approximately three hours. The outage will affect 1,510 members in the following locations:
– Highway 124 East to 8920 Cerulean Road
– Highway 139 North to 6320 Princeton Road
– Wallonia
– US 68 East from Cadiz to Gracey
Pennyrile Electric officials say they regret this interruption of service, but it is necessary to upgrade equipment within the Cadiz Substation. In case of inclement weather, the interruption will be rescheduled for a later date.
