The annual Christmas at the Bend will take place Saturday at Jeffers’ Bend Environmental Center in Hopkinsville.
Coordinator Charles Turner says the event will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. One of the many activities will be making Christmas cards for people in nursing home facilities.
Other activities include storytelling, opportunities to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and making Christmas ornaments.
Students from University Heights Academy in Hopkinsville will be hosting games and at 12:45 PM a bicycle valued at $150 will be given away to one lucky person.
Turner notes there will be a special presentation made to the environmental center following the bicycle drawing.
Turner says admission to the event is very affordable.
All activities will be indoors at Jeffers’ Bend Environmental Center located on Metcalfe Lane in Hopkinsville. For more information call (270) 885-5600.
