A Trigg County home was destroyed in a fire that started Monday morning on Apple Valley Drive.
Linton Fire Department Chief Jason Porter said the home located at 703 Apple Valley Drive was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
Porter said no one was injured in the fire and no pets are believed to be in the home.
The home is a total loss and the fire is believed to have started with a space heater.
