A Cadiz woman was taken to the hospital after a wreck at the intersection of Eagle Way and Madisonville Road Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a truck driven by 38-year-old Shawn Powell of Hopkinsville was southbound on Madisonville Road when he was unable to stop on the wet roadway in time after the light changed at the intersection of Eagle Way.
Powell’s truck collided with a westbound car driven by 23-year-old Stephanie McAtee who was on Eagle Way. McAtee was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries.
One lane of Eagle Way was blocked for approximately 30 minutes.
