Police Looking For Clarksville Robbery Suspect

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man that robbed a credit union in Clarksville Monday morning.

Clarksville Police report the man walked into the Cornerstone Financial Credit Union, located at 2100 Trenton Road, around 9:20 a.m. and demanded money. Police say the man used an orange bag to collect an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerks and fled the scene.

According to police, they speculate the man was wearing a disguise to hide his features. He was described as 5’10” to 6’2 tall, and weighing between 170 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark-colored coat, blue shirt, khaki pants, and black sunglasses.

Police believe the man got into a vehicle, possibly a Lexus SUV, at the Burger King parking lot near the credit union. that appeared to have a Papa Johns’ topper. Police say it unknown if the man is actually employed or associated with the pizza restaurant, but indicate the local Papa Johns’ toppers were all accounted for.
