Police: Hopkinsville Man Fled After Giving Police A False Name

A Hopkinsville man was arrested on a warrant for fleeing from police on High Street Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say 36-year-old Jarvis Caldwell was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped after a report of an intoxicated driver on October 22nd.

After the stop, Caldwell reportedly gave police a false name and social security number then ran from police.

He was arrested on warrants for second-degree fleeing or evading police, giving officers false identifying information and failure to appear.
