Police Release Name Of Man Charged With Fleeing From A Wreck In Hopkinsville

A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly fled from police during a crash investigation on Country Club Lane Monday night.

Hopkinsville Police Lt. Adam Smith said 21-year-old Tarryl Booker was involved in a crash at the intersection of Lafayette Road and Country Club Lane. Booker fled after police ran his name and found he had active warrants.

Smith said Booker was apprehended by a police K9 and was taken into custody a short distance from the crash.

No one was injured in the wreck and Booker is charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police and resisting arrest. He was also served two warrants for probation violation.
