Police: Hopkinsville Couple Found With Meth And Marijuana

A Hopkinsville man and woman were arrested on several drug charges after police went to their home on South Virginia Street to arrest the woman on multiple warrants Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they were attempting to locate 41-year-old Christy Smith-Rojas on warrants for trafficking meth and being a persistent felony offender when they found meth, pipes and a digital scale in the home.

Outside the home police reportedly found 48-year-old Raul Nieves who had meth, marijuana and a pipe in his pants pocket.

Rojas is charged with four counts of trafficking meth. Nieves was charged with possession of meth and marijuana.
