The Hopkinsville Beautification Commission is busy getting ready for the Arbor Day Festival and beautifying the city with fall decorations.
Beautification Coordinator Heather Braun says the Arbor Day Festival will be held Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Debow Park on North Drive and includes lots of activities for everyone to enjoy.

She adds they hold the festival as part of Hopkinsville’s Tree City USA membership.

In addition, Braun says they are removing all the spring plants and transitioning over to fall.

She notes it will take about two weeks for the transition to be complete.
