A Hopkinsville man was charged with unlawful imprisonment and wanton endangerment after an altercation with his wife on East 12th Street Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 55-year-old Archie Atkins backed his wife into a room and attempted to shoot her.
Atkins is charged with fourth-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, and unlawful imprisonment.
