A Hopkinsville man was charged with fleeing from police after a short pursuit Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop 23-year-old Nekoreale Thomas for his license plate not being illuminated in the area of Canton Street and he failed to stop.
The traffic stop was terminated and Thomas vehicle was reportedly located on North Drive abandon. Police located Thomas later and he fled on foot before being arrested.
He is charged with tampering with physical evidence and two counts of first-degree fleeing or evading police. Thomas also had multiple warrants for failure to appear.
