The Trigg County Senior Center will be busy next month, with several activities planned to stay healthy and learn valuable life skills.
Center Director Cissy Lawrence says they will be hosting Diabetes Awareness Days on Monday, October 7th and 21st.
Lawrence adds they will have Diabetes classes in November.
On Wednesday, October 9, Trigg County Hospital will visit to give flu shots.
The center will be open Columbus Day, Monday, October 14 and it will be the Medicare Open Enrollment kickoff.
The Trigg County Hospital monthly dance will take place Tuesday, October 1, with the center dance on Tuesday, October 15.
Lawrence notes they have a bible study and line dance classes every Wednesday.
The center also serves a hot lunch weekdays between 11:30 and noon. Lawrence asks you to call the center at (270) 522-8341 to let them know you are coming for lunch.
The center will be closed Friday, October 11 due to the Trigg County Country Ham Festival.
