Traffic Stop Led To Drugs And Stolen Property In Hopkinsville

A traffic stop led police to arrest three people after they reportedly found drugs and stolen property Friday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 40-year-old Kevin Warner of Hopkinsville and after a search of his vehicle police reportedly found bolt cutters, a saw, camo clothing, and a flashlight.

30-year-old Brittany Warner of Madisonville and 18-year-old Jordan Warner of Hopkinsville were also in the vehicle and found to have meth, marijuana, and pills.

The saw found in the vehicle match the description of a saw that was recently stolen. Police were able to get a search warrant for where they were staying on South Main Street and found more tools that are believed to be stolen along with meth and pills.

All three are charged with trafficking meth. 

Jordan Warner was also charged with tampering with physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance.

Kevin Warner was also charged with receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking, and possession of a controlled substance.
