Trigg Fiscal Court Approves Resoultion For Additional RDAAP Funds

Trigg County Fiscal Court members approved a resolution to apply for some additional RDAAP funds and some appointments to local boards Monday evening.

Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander told magistrates the resolution authorizes him to apply for the second round of funding from the Regional Development Agency Assistance Program (RDAAP).

He adds the first $50,000 they received was spent on two things.

Alexander notes the funding if approved, would also go toward the principal payment for the land in the Interstate 24 Industrial Park.

The RDAAP funds are utilized to promote and carry out economic development efforts on behalf of residents in the county. The Cadiz-Trigg County Economic Development Commission Industrial Development Agency is in charge of deciding how the funds are used.

In other action, members approved to appoint Linda Tribble and Tara Alexander to the John L. Street Library board. Both terms will begin on October 11 and last through October 10, 2023. David Miller and Dee Pak Patel were also reappointed to the Trigg County Tourism board, their terms are retroactive and last through December 31, 2021.
